History

ICC was established in 1973, as a former ICC's body, Nippon Cultural Broadcasting Study Abroad Committee. ICC has expanded its business and opened 5 domestic branch offices in partnership with major broadcasting stations and newspaper company nationwide. In addition to domestic offices, ICC currently owns 4 overseas branch offices in US, UK, Australia and New Zealand for the purpose of supporting students and keeping our programs high in quality.


1973 Former ICC's body, Nippon Cultural Broadcasting Study Abroad Committee, founded.
1990 'International Cross-cultural Committee (ICC)'separated and became independent from Nippon Cultual Broadcasting and registered as 'Cosmo Research Institute Co., Ltd.'
1990 'ICC Kyoto', in association with Kyoto Broadcasting System, established.
1990 ICC Seattle Office established in the United States of America.
1990 Editorial and publishing division established in ICC Headquarters.
1990 'Youth International Scholarship Program' , sponsored by Tempstaff Co., Ltd for university students started.
1993 'ICC Osaka', in association with Osaka Broadcasting, established.
1993 'ICC Fukuoka', in association with Nishinippon Press, established.
1994 'ICC Nagoya', in association with Chukyo TV Broadcasting, established.
1994 ICC Auckland Office established in New Zealand.
1995 Alliance with Department of Education Victoria, Australia, established.
1996 ICC London Office established in the United Kingdom
1997 Pre-departure English Language Training Program started.
1997 Corporate Training Program started.
1997 'ICC Yokohama', in association with Television Kanagawa, established.
1998 Internet Web site, "ICC World" Started
1999 The High School Placement Fair participated by the high schools in Australia, New Zealand started.
2000 Scholarship 'The Adventurers', for anyone challenging to attain unique goals, started.
2002 The program for the aged 50's - 60's in New Zealand started.
2004 High school program in Canberra and Perth in Australia started.
